Nina’s Motivation
A successful day for me is one where I have done my best to serve our customers and encourage them in the process. I am a strong believer in the golden rule; to treat others how you would like to be treated. I try and search for the good in people and aim to lift their spirits while providing them with the best customer service to fit their needs. My faith and family values motivate me to treat each customer with heightened patience, kindness, and respect.
Background
Nina has lived in Aurora all her life and is proud to call herself a Colorado Native. She spent her first year of college at Metropolitan State University and went on to earn her Bachelors’ Degree in General Business at the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley. After graduation, she accepted a position with the Colorado Restaurant Association where she became a valued team member for over 30 years. Nina has been happily married for 26 years. Her and her husband have four children between them and now one granddaughter. COVID-19 took an especially hard toll on the restaurant industry and the pandemic caused Nina to part ways with the CRA. Nina’s many wonderful experiences and relationships with her co-workers causes her to look back on her time at the CRA with fond memories and gratitude for her second family. Nina was able to use her time off to care for her parents. She feels very blessed and excited to be joining the team at Sanborn and Company, where she can apply the skills she’s refined working for the CRA.
